The five-man roster prevailed over the Comets 23-13. The Panthers are now 4-4 and return to action Thursday, January 14 at the elementary school for a HNAC quarterfinal matchup vs. Culver.
Tonight’s game featured the first time the remaining five players played together. The Panthers played their best game of what has been a very trying season due to the ongoing pandemic. The seventh grade began practice in late October with 11 players. By mid-November, the roster was down to eight. Since December, the eight-man roster has fluctuated to a point that it is never the same eight. Yet, tonight, five young men were victorious and now know that they are all each other have to finish the 2020-21 campaign. The community should be very proud of these five: Xander Bullock, Jaxson Merrick, Ethan Ogle, Micah Rans, and JJ Solano.
